Meet 'n' Greet - Jen
Well it all started Friday (10/22/04) the day after everyone found out paul could keep his gold medeal. Because i live in Wisconsin a few min from where the twins grew up there is like always A LOT of stuff about them in the papers and on the news and stuff so i ended up with a million articles that day hehe. The last one i got i actually almost threw away the rest of te paper not noticing the small ad at the bottom of the paper that said "Meet Waukeshas Favorite Son"! I screwed so loud and i knew i had to go the next day!
So all night i kept waking up and was like thinking omg I'm meeting Paul today!!! i couldn't wait and I don't know why but i was like so nervous! That morning i had to get all pretty and stuff and then 30 min before the autograph signing was about to start me and my mom headed off to the bank (where it was taking place). Once we got there we saw SOOOOOOOOOOO many people! i honestly didn't think there would be THAT many people but thinking there were about 2000 people at there homecoming in Waukesha I could understand it haha. So we got there and the first person i saw was Paul's back! i started to freak out and was getting more and more nervous by the second. While he was doing a radio interview i was trying to take lots of pics but there were so many people standing infront of me :-p. So we went and got in line and he started the auto signing!! While he was signing i noticed people wern't getting pics with him so i was kinda sad cuz I really really really wanted one with him, that was like my goal for the day! haha. So finally after i think about 45 min it was my turn to meet him!
Once i got up I like froze! He was like hi! how are you!? and im just like good how are you? i think he said good but i don't realyl remember cuz i was like in shock or something haha. Then i was like can i maybe get a picture with you? (I'm surprised i could even ask that! haha) and then he was like SURE! Just come right around? I was soooooooooooooo happy! So we took the pic and it was funny my mom couldn't figure out my camera (its really like funky and complicated haha) so he was like laughing and I was like scared to be that close to him and I was like shaking while she tried to figure it out haha. So then we finally took the pic and I said bye then we left. I still can't believe I finally met him! This was seriously like one of the best days of my life! Now I gotta meet Morgan! :-p
